Musings of a late Friday nite @ ofc

As I sit here in ofc late on a Friday nite, counting down the minutes and seconds till when I will be home with my loved ones…a random tawt enters my mind. If I wasn’t compelled to earn a living, what would I rather be doing right now? I would home with my husband enjoying the winter over a silly movie and hot snacks…but I’m here in this absurdly cold ofc waiting for my official logout time…

I remember going through Sandy M’s foto albums and thinking how his talent is largely unrecognized by those who ‘appraise’ him. I watch Soumi dance with such fun and passion that I wonder what it would be like to watch her on one of those dance shows on TV....Unnu's cooking, Bish's sports mania…and many more such unexplored treasures of talent lie amidst us…sadly gathering the dust of time as we plow through our daily routines…

I know this is a tad senti and will probably be a hilarious read on Monday morning….but just for a moment, pause and think…if you could do what you loved instead of what your job demands, what would you want to be doing?
